How do you keep your focus? I truly believe that the music side is only 50% of who I am. I feel that I’m there to let people know that Jesus is alive. It must be portrayed in me, what I say, where I go, etc. Not to build my life on emotions, but to apply my faith through the Word. Also, I try to stand on what God says. I'm not afraid of what people say about me, because I try to be 'real'.
Why should I become a Christian? Living a life with Christ as a leader, governor, and best friend, I have the best of my world. Galatians 5 verse 1 explains that there is a great freedom in Jesus, when we live with him and do what he says.

What is your occupation? Professional, all-round, musician.
What groups have you played for in 2004? Jamelia, and just finished working on an album by Kingdom Choir, 'Smile, It's a New Day'. Also, I've worked with T.D. Jakes in the K.I.C.C. conference. I will be playing in the Bethesda conference in October 2004. Lastly, I'm off to work with Bishop John Francis, who is holding a conference in Atlanta, September 2004.
How do I become a musician? Good question. If you feel that you have a gift or you want to nurture a passion, then go to the best. Find a teacher or professor that will bring the Best out of you. Listen to lots of music (various styles) and it’s good to understand the history of that particular style.
Advice to the youth. Be who you are, but remember, in order to be truly successful Christ has to be in all your decisions. When under pressure, your focus has to be on God, for He will direct. Don't be 'double minded' (James 1 : 8). Apply Christ in all aspects of your life, for he is the true source of happiness. Through Christ in your life, I have learnt, you will gain respect from your peers. In Jesus everything is possible. Make Christ 1st. Jerry Brown COGIC Tottenham
