How do you hope to reach the youth in local communities? Reaching out to the Youth in local communities is the key to becoming the largest Pentecostal Youth movement in the UK. This will be achieved through prayer and fasting, training and equipping youth and Sunday school workers with social and spiritual tools. Also by providing the right community facilities e.g.: Mentoring; Counselling; Summer Schemes; Sunday and Saturday Schools.
What have been COGIC UK's Youth Department's greatest achievements? Our greatest achievement to date could be summarised: A) being the first black gospel choir to appear at West Minister Abbey and also The BBC on Songs of Praise. Tells us about the Stephen Nelson, the man.Stephen Nelson the man: Loves God and my family, loves having fun, loves DIY ,loves sport, loves watching people grow from strength to strength without compromising their morals and values.

Tell us about your teenage years in Barbados I was a very obedient teenager (JOKE). Those were great years, full of fun and boyish pranks, which caused my grandmother lots of worry and constant pray. (Plus lots of beating with the belt- the rod of correction as the bible puts it.) Having to attend church and being prayed for has made the difference.
What have you learnt whilst being National Youth President? That leadership is one of the most difficult yet the most rewarding, when you see the youngsters reaching their full potential. Stephen Nelson (Pastor) COGIC UK National Youth President
